I am a sucker for brussel sprouts. I used to dislike them, because as a kid I’d only ever had them overcooked and salted. But let me tell you, I have discovered my love of this tasty little mustard green! The trick is really to make sure you’re preparing it right so it’s not mushy, and since it does have such a strong natural flavor, it stands up really well to seasoning, which lets you experiment with different flavors, without fear of overwhelming the veggie itself.
I have collected my top 5 favorite brussel sprout recipes. Read on to discover your next favorite side dish!
Honey Balsamic Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Honey, balsamic vinegar, and perfect crispy brussel sprouts? What’s not to love about this recipe? The sauce caramelizes on the sprouts, for a perfect snack, or side dish with dinner.
Cheesy Garlic Brussel Sprouts
You had me at cheese! But seriously, cheese and brussel sprouts is such a good combination, and! this recipe is keto friendly! Crumble in some bacon for a little extra oomph!
Brussel Sprouts Au Gratin
Brussel Sprout Au Gratin is the dish that got me to like brussel sprouts. I am not exaggerating. This one calls for pancetta, which I usually substitute for bacon, and then I like to add a teaspoon of horseradish and some breadcrumbs on top too. But give it a try as is first before you start making it your own, it’s a good recipe!
Sriracha Brussel Sprouts
I love spicy food, seriously. At first you might think the combination of spicy sriracha with brussel sprouts is odd, but trust me, it works!
Lemon Parmesan Crusted Brussel Sprouts
I just adore lemon and brussel sprouts. The combination really cuts through the mustard flavor of the brussel sprouts to make for a light, summery dish.
Let me know which of these is your favorite! Mine is a toss up between the Au Gratin and the Lemon Parmesan.
I think the Cheesy Garlic brussels sprouts look so delicious! Great ideas!

I’ve only eaten Brussel Sprouts once, but since we are growing them in the garden again this year, I want to try them a few different ways – assuming we get a big enough harvest. Definitely going to give some of these a try when the sprouts are ready to harvest in a couple of months.
